Owl's Project

Looks cute, doesn't it?
After much thinking, I went with this. I made it final on the afternoon of 5 Dec, 2015. I drew with a pencil and then black-lined with a pen. A bit of it was improvised. Coloured with pencil crayons and markers. I was listening to Avril Lavigne 2013.
This is a birthday gift for my dear friend ProjectOWL. I haven't forgotten what I once said in a comment on a tag journal of hers. An autistic lefty just like me, she loves animals like I do, and she gets inspiration from music like I do. She's now 15. Please, give her some love.
I was stumped on what to make for her. Title is a bad play-on of her username. I drew her owl character, Micaiah, putting enthusiasm in feather painting (a bird's finger painting ). I gave him bangs because of how I wear my bangs. I also wanted to capture that he's a leftie. Deciding which shades to use for the character's colours, was a challenge. What I put in the background, I didn't practise. I put them in to make the picture less empty. The guitar, the microphone, and the music notes are for how much she loves her music. That red leaf, I deliberately drew curved as if it flowed with the air.
In case you can't read the small message, I wrote: "For my awesome friend Hannah Moss. With much love from AMM-P xoxo" I hope one day to meet her face-to-face.
