To always see in nightmares
Danger multiplied
Thick-scaled long lines,
With glaring eyes and pronged tongues,
Flexible as string
Feeding on ladies
All too innocent to bleed
To fulfill hunger
Tall as a mountain
Reaching deep into valleys
Wicked shadow cast
Powerful, fearsome
It exceeds ev’ry limit
Shini kaibutsu

From playing "Okami" yesterday, I was at the part of fighting the Yamata, and it later dawned on me: a poem. I wrote this last night before I turned in. The last thing to write before turning 22. Since the monster is of Japanese mythology, I decided to use the style of Haiku.
