My Time is Yet to Come

If you don't know that song, I highly recommend you listen to it. I've been longing to base a piece on the lyrics of Nightwish's song "Forever Yours", and that's among my many favourite songs by the band. I did think of someone watching in wonder. Long story, but I went with an owl watching the sunrise as he contemplates on what the future has in store for him. I would've given detail, but I wanted to be true to a shadow being cast as the sky lights up.
This was drawn on the evening of 4 June, 2014. I drew with pencil and then black-lined with a pen. Coloured all in pencil crayons. I admit it looks a little sloppy. I was listening to various songs. I was drinking milk and eating Oreos. This took me 44 minutes.
